Kakuro
Kakuro: The Arithmetical Grid Protocol. Cross-sum challenges that sharpen numerical substitution and deductive reasoning.
Editorial Notes
The Logic of Sums
Kakuro is the mathematical equivalent of a crossword. At Castor Digital Labs, our Kakuro protocols focus on the "partitioning" skill, a key component of complex problem-solving.
Access Protocol: How to Play
- Horizontal & Vertical Clues: Numbers in the triangle-split squares (clues) represent the sum required for that block.
- Digit Allocation: Fill white cells with digits 1 through 9.
- Summation Logic: Every digit in a block must add up to the clue provided above or to the left.
- Isolation Rule: No digit can be repeated within a single continuous sum block.
